KUI UMI – Prof. Dr. Hj. Masrurah Mokhtar, M.A (Rector UMI) and the team is received by the Ade Padmo Sarwono (the Consul General of RI in Perth) on Wednesday, 7th September 2016 at the Consulate General of Republik of Indonesia, Perth Australia.
Ade Patmo is reported to be appreciative on UMI rector and the team visit.
“It feels like home when we are visited by Indonesian People. I appreciate and will respond the cooperation implemented by UMI and Curtin University in the term of quality improvement for both institution in the research field and academics mobility,” he explained.
Ade also reminds to UMI team to not to forget on intellectual rights (HaKI). “Actually, we have the potential human resources and research idea, but we often neglect the intellectual rights,” he said.
It is also mentioned that UMI and Curtin University cooperation will be facilitated. When the collaboration begun, then it will be continually coordinated by implementing academics mobility, and any other activities mentioned in the collaboration agreement.
