How to Apply?

We are glad to welcome you as international student to our university
If you are interested in applying as an international student (undergraduate and postgraduate)

Undergraduate Programs

Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) offers undergraduate degree for international students.  

If you are interested to apply for the degree, make sure you have provided the following documents:

  1. A high-quality scanned copy of my passport and its cover
  2. A certified copy of all academic certificates and transcript
  3. 4 current color photographs (red background) size 4×6
  4. A financial guarantee statement enclosing a bank statement, indicating my financial ability to undertake education in USD (minimum USD 2000)
  5. A recommendation letter from my school/institution
  6. A health insurance
  7. Health statement letter

Master Programs

Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) offers master’s scholarships to international students. The master programs are set for 4 semesters (2 years). The Master’s program at UMI is a combination between coursework and research. At the end of the study, students are required to write a master’s thesis. 

The requirement for a master’s scholarship application are:

  1. High-quality scanned copy of my passport and its cover
  2. Certified copy of undergraduate academic certificates and transcript
  3. 4 current color photographs (red background) size 4×6
  4. A financial guarantee statement enclosing a bank statement, indicating my financial ability to undertake education in USD (minimum USD 2000)
  5. 3.00 of undergraduate GPA
  6. Recommendation letters from two professors in previous university
  7. A curriculum vitae
  8. Health insurance
  9. Health statement letter

Doctoral Programs

Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) offers doctoral Scholarships to international students. Doctoral programs are set for 8 semesters (4 years). The intake is every semester. Doctoral degrees at UMI are a combination between coursework and research. At the end of the study, students are required to write a master and doctoral thesis.

The requirement for a doctoral Scholarship

  1. High-quality scanned copy of my passport and its cover
  2. Certified copy of undergraduate and master’s academic certificates and transcript
  3. 4 current color photographs (red background) size 4×6
  4. A financial guarantee statement enclosing a bank statement, indicating my financial ability to undertake education in USD (minimum USD 2000)
  5. 3.50 for doctoral degree
  6. Recommendation letters from two professors from a previous university
  7. Curriculum vitae
  8. Health insurance
  9. Health statement letter
