The meeting is opened by the Vice Rector for Collaboration and Planning Affairs UMI Prof Dr H Ma’ruf Hafidz SH MH accompanied by the head of UMI International Office Ir Hj Setyawati Yani ST MT PhD.
The visits confirmed to be seeking collaboration with UMI as the biggest and oldest private university in the Eastern Indonesia.
Prof Ma’ruf introduced UMI to be the leading private university in the Eastern Indonesia. UMI has 13 faculties and 54 study program and postgraduate program.
It is presented that although Maejo University (MJU) is an agriculturally-based higher education institute, MJU also aims to be a university that connects with people, communities and countries in everyday life.
“Hope that this is a beginning for UMI and Maejo University to collaborate,” Setyawati said.
