
A Dutch student, Mr. Onno Leusink is doing an international internship at Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) Makassar.
Onno Leusink is a student from Van Hall Larenstein, University of Applied Sciences, Netherland. He said that he chose UMI to be the place for his internship for six months because UMI is well known for its Faculty of Agriculture. Onno’s supervisor, Anko Stilma (Van Hall Larenstein University), also suggested him to choose UMI. Onno will focus on Cocoa and Indonesian culture, particularly in South Sulawesi.
“I thank Bu Ayu, for accepting me as her internship student,” he said during his interview at Menara UMI Lantai 9, Monday 9 March 2020.
Rector of UMI Prof Dr H Basri Modding MSi appreciates the international office for this internship. Now, Onno is enlisted as an international student of UMI.
Dr Ir Ayu Kartini Paranwansa MP, the head of the International Office of UMI is also confirmed to be Mr. Onno Leusink’s supervisor during his internship in UMI.
