UMI Student Joins SEAEP Program

Andi Rina Ayu, a Chemical Engineering student, Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI), UMI Makassar, said goodbye to UMI rector to go to Malaysia and Thailand to join the international student exchange selection program, at the South East Asia Exchange Program (SEAEP).

Andi Rina Ayu Astuti was the only participant who graduated from a campus outside Java, among 20 participants from all over Indonesia.

The selection conducted by the Young Community Inspiring Gadjah Mada University and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and followed by various Asian countries and gathered at the University of Malaya Malaysia and Chulalongkorn University Thailand with the theme ‘The Role of Youth Students for Sustainable Development in The Age of Millennia ‘, held from 7 to 12 January 2018 in Malaysia and Thailand.
