ACICIS Visits UMI

KUI UMI – ACICIS is visiting Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) Makassar accompanied by the Vice Consul Violet Rish, Australian Consul-General in Makassar, Friday, 24 February 2017.

The meeting is initiated by International Office of UMI and UMI Research Center (LP2S). It is held on the 3rd Floor of Gedung Menara UMI, Makassar.

The ACICIS’ team is represented by ACICIS Deputy Resident Director Dr. Adrian Budiman. ACICIS provides students with the best possible educational experience in Indonesia, in a safe, secure and supportive environment.

The Australian Consortium for ‘In-Country’ Indonesian Studies (ACICIS) is a non-profit consortium of universities that develops and coordinates high quality, in-country study options in Indonesia.

ACICIS programs enhance the student’s educational experience and produce graduates with the ability to understand the world from a global perspective.

The New Colombo Plan funding has also allowed ACICIS to expand significantly the range of in-country study options available to Australian students in Indonesia, with the addition since 2015 of four new study options offered in disciplines including Business, Agriculture, Creative Arts, and Public Health. A further two study options in intensive Indonesian language and Law will be launched in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

The event is also attended by Research center representative, Dr. Ir. Nuraeni, MS and Dr. Ilmiah, MP, the secretary of International Office Salmia Syarifuddin, research fellows within UMI.
